It really was a matter of time until I did Marlene-the-marionette. I adore how her character design reflects that theme so well (the cage-skirt, the idealised china doll dress and the ringlets...) and I have fun pushing it a little farther.
Posting this outside of scraps because I do so dig how moody the coloring turned out.
